Gatehouse AIS data import for IWRAP analysis

摘要

The IALA Risk Management Steering Group and GateHouse launched in 2009 the second version of the IALA risk assessment tool, IWRAP Mk2. This is free for the use for IALA members and provides the user with a unique tool for quantifying the risks involved with vessel traffic. The free basic version allows the user to input ship traffic data manually and calculate collision and grounding frequencies. GateHouse now offers an AIS Import module that eliminates the manual input of data by enabling analysts to import ship data from AIS directly into the IWRAP Mk2, thus enabling rapid execution of high-quality risk analysis.
