GEAR POPULARIZATION OF SCIENCE TO THE 21ST CENTURY

Both Chinese Communist Party and central gov- ernment have pointed out in clear terms that, in order to enforce the national strategy for socio- economic development, i. e. to rejuvenate Chinese nation by scientific and educational means, we must upgrade S&T progress to a crucial position in our socio-economic development and enable our capital construction to really rely on the improvement of the quality of our labor forces and on a special emphasis of R&D breakthroughs and S&T innovation.
