S. collaborators have successfully identified a gene that may hold the key to fight against myeloid leukemia tumor.rnLeukemia, which literally means "white blood" in Greek, is the prevailing blood cancer in the world today. Acute or chronic, it is a neo-plastic disease of the bone marrow inrnwhich unrestrained proliferation of white blood cells occurs, and is usually accompanied by anemia, impaired blood clotting and enlargement of the lymph nodes.
