The ASIST Awards process, which culminates in the announcement of the winners of some of the most prestigious honors in the field of information science and technology, heads into full gear in early summer when nominations arrive and juries begin their evaluative work. While most of this year's juries have been filled, the ASIST Information Science Education Committee is looking for members who wish to serve on one of two juries for which there are a few slots open. These are the juries for the UMI Doctoral Dissertation Award and the ISI Doctoral Dissertation Proposal Scholarship. The work of the juries lasts no more than a few weeks.
