NTTC, FMCSA, DOT announce Cargo Tank Workshops

NTTC is continuing its partnership with the US Department of Transportation (US DOT) and the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), co-sponsoring workshops designed to help cargo tank repair technicians, testers, and inspectors comply with the federal regulations-whether as a bulk motor carrier or for a commercial repair facility. Three workshops are scheduled through October. The workshops will be conducted by experienced DOT/ FMCSA field agents who are active in hazardous material and cargo tank training and enforcement-with special training in the details of cargo tank regulatory requirements. They use their experience in conducting facility audits to introduce "real world" issues into the workshops.
