Univar, ExxonMobil team up to support TSA

Univar Solutions, a global chemical and ingredient distributor and provider of value-added services, recently worked with ExxonMobil to help the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) safeguard the health of its security officers and passengers in airports across the nation amid the coronavirus pandemic. ExxonMobil provided Univar with thousands of gallons of isopropyl alcohol (IPA), a key ingredient in many disinfectants and sanitizers, and Univar blended, packaged and delivered the products to a TSA warehouse location for further distribution to domestic airports. This helped TSA maintain workplace safety despite COVID-19-related shortages of personal protective equipment (PPE) and cleaning solvents, Univar said.
