US-based East Coast Cranes & Electric (ECC), which was acquired by Cargotec (through Kalmar) in April 2006, has changed its name to Cargotec Services USA to reflect the change in ownership and the range of services that it offers. One of the premier container crane and port service providers in the western hemisphere, Cargotec Services USA will focus on its existing port services business and add a new emphasis on bulk handling systems (cf MacGregor's former BMH range) and total terminal maintenance.
