TKS slab shipments under way

The first trial shipment of 10,000t of steel slabs from ThyssenKrupp Stahl's CSA Sidenirgica do Atlantico integrated iron and steel mill in Santa Cruz, Brazil, was delivered to Duisburg in October for further processing at its Ruhr rolling mills. The ambitious project will see steel slabs produced in Brazil from locally sourced iron ore and then shipped to the U.S and Europe.
