Savona terminal changes hands

Italiana Coke (Alberto Ascheri) has acquired from Campsostano the whole of the 46% stake it owned in TAFS (Terminal Alti Fondali Savona Srl), the deep water coal/min-eral bulk terminal in the Port of Savona. The deal is said to be worth €3M.rnThe ownership struc-ture of TAFS is thus as fol-lows: 46% Italiana Coke; 40% PortLog (Franco Gattorno); 5% Estate, which is owned 80% by Eurports/Brookfield Asset Management and 20% byrnItaliana Coke; with the bal-ance of 9% shared by two of Italy's three leading coal traders, Unicoal (4%) and Ascheri's Energy Coal (5%).
