UralChem, one of Russia's leading mineral fertilisers producers, is extending its operations into the global market. The company's ambitious plan includes exporting its manures via Latvia and France to further destinations. In November last year Uralchem and the Latvian Commercial Port of Riga established Riga Fertiliser Terminal (RFT), the joint venture aimed at constructing a 5 mtpa bulk fertiliser terminal at the Riga harbour.
