Liebherr toasts Galigrain

Spanish terminal operator Galigrain SA in the Port of Mann is regularly reaching a peak rate of 1,800 t/hr with its 4-rope Liebherr LHM 550 mobile harbour crane, according to the crane maker. Fitted with Liebherr's hybrid Pactronic drive, Galigrain uses the crane, supplied in 2011, to unload bulkers up to Panamax size. With a maximum outreach of 54m and a maximum lift capacity of 144t, the crane is also used to handle general cargoes.
