Load'em up

While rail car discharge requires a heavy structure to swing a 100t wagon through 180 deg, rail car loading, for high throughput applications, requires precision. In its simplest form, it is possible to employ wheel shovels or even a mobile conveyor unit with a feeding apron to load a train, but this operation is not cost effective for any application other than low volumes when there is no time pressure to turn around the train.
