Sandvik plant for UK firm

Sandvik Construction has supplied new crushing and screening equipment to Somerset, UK-based John Wainwright & Co Ltd. The equipment, representing an investment of £3.5M, has been installed at the secondary aggregate production plant at Moons Hill quarry, replacing some of plant that has been in use since 1963. The new 20m high plant is estimated to be 60% more productive, and will utilise some of the most modern, and efficient crushing and screening equipment manufactured by Sandvik. John Wainwright & Co Ltd has been supplying aggregates to the construction industry since 1891 from its two Somerset quarries, Moons Hill and Stoke.
