UK-headquartered 4B Components has launched a cloud-based platform for monitoring equipment condition at dry cargo handling facilities. According to 4B Components, the dry bulk industry is "saturated" with sensors that monitor for overheated components and other conditions that can cause an explosion, but they all suffer from one problem - being switched off, ignored or bypassed by operations personnel. It aims to solve this problem with its new Hazardmon.com platform.
