Newcastle terminal loads

Newcastle Agri Terminal (NAT) loaded its first grain in the namesake New South Wales port on 21 February. Independently owned and operated, NAT is the first major grain port development in the state in over 25 years. More than 28,000t of durum wheat was loaded onto the 71,290 dwt north princess on behalf of Australian Durum Company (ADC), destined for Algeria. ADC is part of the Graintrend Group which specialises in the export of pulses to the Indian sub-continent, wheat to South East Asia and sorghum and barley to China.
