Energy-Efficient Office Practices

In AIA 2030 Commitment; Measuring Industry Progress Toward 2030; First Annual Report, May 2011, AIA found architecture firms are working towards using less energy in the office. Firms are implementing simple strategies, like encour- aging employees to conserve by shutting off the lights in unoccupied rooms, as well as more sophisticated changes, like upgrading equipment and applying energy-efficient lighting solutions.
