Kvaerner Rashleigh Weatherfoil has settled its dispute with electrical subcontractor Magnus Services after three years of bitter wrangling. The company - which originally claimed Magnus owed it £5000 -has paid out an estimated £200 000. Both sides have agreed to keep precise details of the settlement confidential. Magnus originally claimed it was owed £116 000 plus VAT, costs and interest, on a contract with M&E contractor Andrews-Weatherfoil, which Kvaerner bought from Powell Duffryn in May 1997.
