Willmott Dixon plans to reduce costs with off-site manufacturing

Willmott Dixon is looking to build 1,000 homes per year using off-site manufacturing by 2017 as part of an attempt to reduce its reliance on costly on-site trades. The firm's housebuilding arm has signed a brace of three-year deals with Robertson Timber Engineering for timber frames and Fusion Building Systems for light-gauge steel frames.
