Costain boss set to lead Keltbray

Costain's chief operating officer is set to become Keltbray's new chief executive, Building understands. Darren James is due to join the £500m-turnover specialist contractor this spring, ending more than 30 years of association with the listed contractor, which he joined from university. James, 52, was appointed chief operating officer last May, the month former chief executive Andrew Wyllie stepped down, having previously been managing director of infrastructure for 11 years. James sits on Costain's 10-strong executive board, which includes chief executive Alex Vaughan and chief financial officer Tony Bickerstaff.
