General election delays auditor's report into Carillion hospitals

A report into the government's handling of two hospital jobs left half-built after Carillion's collapse has been delayed by the general election. The National Audit Office's investigation into the rescue of Carillion's PFI hospital contracts at the Royal Liverpool and Midland Metropolitan in Birmingham was due to be published by the end of this month.
