Kier nabs £253m prison job in first big win under new boss

Kier has nailed down its first major contract since Andrew Davies took the helm, as the Ministry of Justice (MoJ) named it to build the £253m Wellingborough prison. The contractor was first appointed to carry out early works on the Northampton site early last year and has been demolishing the old prison on the site since mid-2018.
