The major construction sites are a closed environment. No one can get in and out other than through security ("Health secretary defends decision to keep building sites open" 24 March).They are less risk than a supermarket as workers don't mix with the general public, and I don't hear a call to close supermarket tills. The risks are getting to and from work, and someone who is carrying the virus or ill working on the site. Simple measures could make a real difference. Minibus collection and drop-off to site would remove the risk of general public contamination. It would not be that difficult to employ a first aider to monitor everyone going in and leaving the site for fever, etc.
