HID Global announced that Nanchang Changbei International Airport has selected the company's networked access control solution, contactless smart cards, and readers for its new terminal to enhance overall security. The new system delivers real-time monitoring and data management capabilities, while enabling role-based access control settings to manage staff access at key entry points and restricted areas in the airport. Handling over 3.3 million airport passengers a year as the aviation hub for Jiangxi Province, Changbei International Airport faced a number of security challenges.
