Macau GDP in 2013 increased to USD 51.74 billion

The GDP of Macau has experienced unprecedented growth in the past 15 years, from MOP 49 billion in 2000 increased to MOP 413.4 billion (approximately USD 51.74 billion) in 2013. With mega civil projects under construction, such as the Hong Kong-Macau-Zhuhai Bridge, Light Rail system and large-scale reclamation for new town development, it is expected that the construction sphere will continue well into the next decade.
