Center 66

摘要

This large development consists of two office towers and the city's largest shopping mall. The three striking glass atria enclosing the mall evolved as the ideal response to the site's circulation patterns, distribution of natural light, and arrangement of volumes. Achieving a LEED Gold certification was a fundamental objective of the project, as well as the preservation of two theatre stages and a hall dating from the Ming dynasty (circa AD 1369) and a historical well. The design of Center 66 extensively restores this historic compound whilst integrating it within a large public plaza and landscape design.
