Norman Foster this week unveiled plans for the tallest mixed-use building in western Europe, located in the La Defense business area of Paris.rnFoster personally revealed plans for the Hermitage Plaza at Mipim on Wednesday. The scheme is doiminated by two 323m-high towers - of 91 and 93 storeys -facing each other across a public plaza.rnOne will contain a 204-room, five-star hotel, spa and apartments, while the other will contain offices and additional flats.rnThe scheme also includes an art gallery, shops, cafes and restaurants. A spokeswoman for Foster's said the scheme would breathe life into the area at evenings and weekends, as well as being a dra-rnmatic addition to the Paris skyline. The project's developer is Hermitage Group, and completion is set for 2014.
