RMJM's prized Asia operation has suffered another hammer blow after five former senior designers joined forces to launch a rival practice in Hong Kong.rnThe firm, 10 Design, which is around 30 strong already, will be led by Gordon Affleck, Scott Find-ley, Ted Givens and Adrian Boot -who, as BD revealed, have all left RMJM in recent months - plus Kishor Lad, who was responsible for the design management of RMJM's work in India.rnRMJM's Hong Kong office is said to have lost around 80 staff in recent weeks amid complaints of late payment of staff salaries. Some of these are understood to have joined 10 Design.rnAt RMJM, Affleck and Findley were international design principals together responsible for the design direction of the firm's 600 staff in Asia and the Middle East, equating to more than half of its total global resource.rnGivens was design director in RMJM's Hong Kong office while Boot was an international design principal for Europe.
