Given the close proximity of this new classroom facility to the San Francisco Bay wetlands, salt infiltration was a major factor in choosing proper materials for the project. Materials needed to withstand the harsh marine environment and hold up to the high level of moisture in the air. For these reasons, DensGlass™ Exterior Sheathing from Georgia-Pacific's Family of fiberglass-mat gypsum products was specified.
