Residential complex to fill void in Manhattan block

A new 26,000-gsf residential building in the Clinton district of Lower Manhattan will help build out the original urban block by filling a longtime corner void. Residential entrances to 653 Tenth Ave. share the ground floor with retail space, while the second through sixth floors offer studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom apartments. Duplex units make up the rest of the structure. A penthouse with private roof terrace and relaxation garden crown the building. Rainscreen panel systems adorn the fagade. Glazed storefronts border the ground level of the complex, and a fitness room is located near the tenant storage units. Cannon Design led the project.
