A. INTRODUCTION As client acoustic advisor for a number of concert hall projects in Scandinavia, the author has had the opportunity to reflect on what governs the development of concert hall design and how we can keep control of acoustic quality without putting unnecessary limits to the creativity of the designers so that we allow for concert hall design to develop further.
