Systems for Supporting Deaf People in Viewing Sports Programs by Using Sign Language Animation Synthesis

To expand services that provide information to people with hearing impairments, we are developing a viewer support system for sports programs, in which sign language generated by computer graphics (CG) animation is adopted. The system generates sign language CG and subtitles from game metadata distributed in real time during a sports event, and presents them as the event progresses.
