Straight-to-video Option At Core Of Zacuto's System

Zacuto is introducing a series of kits designed to transform a video-enabled digital SLRs into a filmmaking device.Similar to the Redrock systems (BJP, 29 October), the Zacuto kits aim to make DSLRs work more like cinema-ready video cameras. The kits, developed for the Canon EOS 5D Mark II and Nikon D90, can be used with any 15mm lightweight camera accessory.Their height adjustable universal baseplate and new Z-spacer allow filmmakers to mount any matt box or follow focus to the cameras, along with a wireless mic, on-board monitor, and audio adaptors.
