National Cupcake Week went with a bang last month, with hundreds of bakers up and down the country getting involved. Taking place from 16-22 September, the annual celebration of all things cupcake once again succeeded in raising vital funds for partner charity CLIC Sargent, which provides support for children and young people with cancer. Katie Turton, national events manager at CLIC Sargent, said: "It was great to see bakers getting involved and raising money for CLIC Sargent from cupcake sales. This will help us support more families whose lives have been turned upside down by cancer."
