Synergy adds passion fruit to flavours

With summer approaching, it seems that customers are after "more exotic tastes". In line with this, ingredients and flavours business Synergy has launched a new passion fruit flavour range. The range is available in five different taste profiles, in a liquid and spray dry formula. The firm suggests the flavours can be used in biscuits and other bakery items. Chris Whiting, category executive at Synergy, said: "Working closely with our team in Brazil, the range has been developed to offer authenticity and versatility, so we can help our customers to innovate with this popular flavour across multiple categories including beverages, dairy, bakery and sports nutrition."
