NEW MOTORWAY SPAN BROUGHT TO SITE ON WHEELS

Global heavylift and transportation company ALE was contracted to complete the transportation and installation of a new bridge for the 154 project in South Staffordshire in the UK. The project has seen considerable investment by three local councils and involves the 91Ha site being turned into a major business park with the potential to create hundreds of jobs in the area. The 45m-long bridge replaced a previous crossing and will allow access to what will be a new motor engine plant and water treatment works. The bridge will also serve as a public footpath and bridleway across the M54 motorway near Wolverhampton.
