Technology Managers Gather for International Workshop

Ninety clinical engineers recently gathered, and another 44 participated via a live online broadcast at the Institute of Biomedical Engineering (IEB) from Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC), in the beautiful city of Florianopolis, Brazil. The event: The 35th Healthcare Technology Management and Clinical Engineering Workshop, held November 27 to December 1, 2006. This workshop is part of a long series of workshops held since 1991 in developing countries around the world by the American College of Clinical Engineering (ACCE) in collaboration with the Pan-American Health Organization (PAHO) and the World Health Organization (WHO).
