Innovative bridge design solves traffic problems

When the Storrow Drive Bridge opened late last year, tens of thousands of Boston-area commuters gained needed relief in one of the city's most congested areas, the I-93 river crossing. The bridge solves several vexing traffic problems that caused the Storrow Drive/I-93 area to have one of the highest accident rates in the country.
