This is shown in the first environmental reports presented by Boliden one year after the accident. Boliden has analysed more than 3,600 soil and water samples from the upper part of the river basin after the accident. 'We are pleased with the results of the sampling campaigns', says Pavel Adamek, Project Manager of the Environmental Impact Assessment investigations following the accident at Boliden Apirsa. 'We can present these comforting results thanks to the good buffering capacity of the soils and the thorough clean up work.'
