Research on intelligent speech signal processing using vector quantization

摘要

A speaker recognition system based on vector quantization technique is presented in this thesis. For the purpose of field application, exponential noise reduction method in time domain is investigated. For speaker recognition among large population, 3 approaches are proposed to decrease the time of matching at recognition phase and that of learning at registration phase dramatically A speech indexing system for search based on speaker's information is demonstrated finally.
