CWID - Taking a Top Down Approach

CWID has established itself from its original intention of fast-tracking vital C4I systems into service to a scenario which enables the testing of vital interoperability of a myriad of systems provided on different platforms with different hardware and software configurations, operating at different speeds over a network which includes, military on land, sea and air, Police, paramilitary, government and media. This network must be able to provide the warfighter with seamless, concise, accurate and real-time information to allow critical mission planning across coalition forces. CWID certainly shows how this can be achieved and analysed with crucial changes made.
