Banc Post A steady and thriving growth

Banc Post was established on July 1, 1991, as a fully state-owned joint stock company with a share capital of nearly $3m, following the public communications sector restructuring process. In 2002, Banc Post was the first wholly privatised bank within the Romanian banking system. EFG Eurobank Ergasias (Greece) became the main shareholder with 36.25%, holding together with Banco Portugues de Investimento (Portugal) a 53.25% majority stake in the bank. Since its first year of operation, Banc Post has adopted a bold and proactive strategy, based on flexibility, quick response to market needs and innovative solutions. Banc Post grew rapidly to become one of the top ranking banks in Romania, building and enhancing its good reputation not only countrywide but also abroad. Today the bank offers a comprehensive range of products and services for both individuals and corporate customers.
