Industrialising the bank: the route to high performance

The CEOs of today's major banking institutions face a range of pressing and highly complex challenges. Two issues in particular are now at the top of the CEO agenda. Although their precise order varies from bank to bank, every institution faces them to some extent. The first of these challenges is to generate organic growth, because this is a critical determinant of how the market will value the bank. In seeking organic growth, banks are constantly looking for how they can be more differentiated from their competitors -be it through a better service proposition, superior sales and marketing focus or superior product.
