Activity has increased in capital markets since the Capital Market Authority was set up last year. International investment banks are now lining up for a piece of the action, Stephen Timewell reports from Riyadh. The establishment of the Capital Market Authority (CMA) in July last year has pro- vided an important catalyst for the Saudi capital markets. And as major international investment banks enter the market, they can be expected to develop the huge unfulfilled potential of the economy and provide yet another springboard for growth.
