Julius baer has acquired Merrill Lynch's international wealth management businesses in Lebanon, Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates, expanding its presence in the wealth management market in the Middle East. The process of transferring employees, client relationships and the majority of the assets is expected to be completed in the first half of 2014.
