Global frenzy for cryptos

While many recent headlines have centred on Bitcoin's meteoric rise (and potential fall), there were other significant developments in the cryptocurrency world. The Chicago Board Options Exchange launched one-month Bitcoin futures contracts on December 10, a week ahead of its rival CME Group. The exchange traded more than 800 contracts within the first two hours following the launch.
