ONCE AGAIN, investment banks from around the world - regional players through to global giants - are vying to be crowned market leaders across the sector's key product areas. This year, in recognition of the increasing importance of sustainability within investment banking, we have introduced new categories celebrating the institutions that have put sustainability at the heart of what they do, promoting an approach which pays close attention to environmental, social and governance considerations. The awards also recognise the banks that have delivered excellence for their clients across 19 different product areas. For the first time, in 2020, investment banks that have pushed the boundaries of technological innovation will also be rewarded for their efforts. There are 28 categories in total in 2020, including the coveted title of Investment Bank of the Year.
