The single-screw, double-hulled tanker 'LS Anne' has an overall length of 105.5 metres and a length between perpendiculars of 99.35 metres on a 16.8-metre beam with a depth of 7.4 metres and a summer freeboard draught of 6.2 metres.rnThe vessel is powered by a single Caterpillar MaK 6M32C main engine driving a variable pitch 3,850mm-diameter propeller at 160rpm. Auxiliary power is provided by three 370kW generator sets and a single 800kWe shaft generator. Manoeuvrability is enhanced by a single 300kW, electric-driven thruster with a fixed pitch propeller.rnThe vessel has a service speed of 13 knots at 90 percent MCR.rnThe 5,850DWT tanker has a maximum cargo volume of 6,582m3 and a slop tank volume of 176.6m~3, in a ten-plus-two, fully-rnsegregated tank configuration serviced by hydraulic deepwell pumps. The vessel is equipped to discharge a maximum of 1,400m~3 of cargo an hour.rnThe vessel's tanks have been coated with Advanced Polymer Coatings' MarineLine tank coating system, a heat-cured, polymer system, developed for lining the tanks of chemical carriers as an alternative to expensive stainless steel tanks and restricted-use epoxy coatings.
