Antwerp Port Authority invests EUR1.6 billion

The Antwerp Port Authority has announced it will embark on an investment program over the next 15 years, representing an amount of EUR1.6 billion (US$2.23 billion).rnWorks include the development of the Verrebroek dock and the Saeftinghe Development Area, modifications to its canal dock and the Waasland canal, maintenance of roads and bridges, and the construction of a new port house and renovation of administrative buildings.
