First Croatian yards find a buyer

Croatia has selected a buyer for two of the five yards it is in the process of privatising to meet requirements for its European Union accession bid. According to Bloomberg, Jadranska Ulaganja, based in Zagreb, will buy the Croatian Government's share of 3 Maj Shipyard for one kuna (US$0.19), as well as Kraljevica Shipyard. All five of the shipyards are running at a loss. 3 Maj itself posted losses of US$84 million in 2009.
