'Samson VII' Highly adaptable workboat from Spain to Western Australia

Western Australian marine support company Samson Express Offshore has received delivery of 'Samson VII' - a highly adaptable workboat for inshore construction project work. Initially named 'Zumaia Septimo1 and owned by Spanish offshore company Zumaia Offshore, the vessel was sold and delivered to Fremantle in April 2012. She was carried onboard the heavy lift cargo vessel 'MV Trina' from her shipyard in the Spanish port of Algeciras, following her acquisition. Her delivery followed hot on the heels of the delivery of 'Samson VI', a slightly smaller sister vessel. Upon arrival, the vessel underwent some additional modifications to make it more suitable for local conditions.
